Popular content management systems like Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal have extensions that can automatically create site map files.
Once you have a site map file you can submit it to a search engine. Google Webmaster Tools is a place where you can add as many files as needed. Yahoo and Bing also provide the same tools for site map files. Once the file has been added it will be downloaded and timely reviewed. During the normal process of clarifying the links in the file list will be revisited and if possible listed. For each file submitted by Google it shows the number of pages with references. This is a very important indicator of the quality of our website. If everything in the site map file list is not indexed then it is not a big problem. General pages such as About Us, Contact Us or Privacy Policy are small and often not included in the index. However, if we find that, for example, one-third of the pages submitted are not displayed then we need to find the cause and act accordingly.
