how to generate discloure page
Many bloggers want to earn extra money by using the power of their blog, but many wonder what the word 'disclosure' means and how they add it to the blog. It is not that difficult to achieve, it is simply intended to be honest and open to your readers by writing that you will be 'compensated' for some of your posts.
Sometimes, disclosure is required
First of all let me say that some form of disclosure is considered mandatory for certain paid systems. This is because the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) of America has applied the terms of use of the recommendations and recommendations on websites, which I do not intend to enter here. Being a UK blogger, with my sites hosted on UK servers, I should not be affected ...
But me! If I want to take advantage of US-sponsored posting programs, they apply American law around the world. So what are the options?
However, much depends on the system you use and the advertiser you pay. Most advertisers do not want to advertise that their posts are paid and likewise many bloggers do not want to make it clear.
Options available to us include:
1) Add a wide range of site disclosures - create a page on your website that clearly states that you may be compensated for doing some of your posts. Link this page to your main navigation to make it accessible. This method is less intrusive, while you can enter more text.
2) Write a disclaimer for each post - simply leave a message of thanks to the advertiser at the bottom of the post, or an instant message that the post is sponsored.
3) A little bit of both - create a disclosure page and a disclosure badge. Add a badge at the end of each paid post, so readers can use it as a link to the information page.
It is a choice
What you do is up to you, but the text you use will depend on how you do it with disclosure. If you post in each post, then only a simple message is possible. But when you create an entire page, you will have more space to say words and explain to your readers what you are doing.
In this case, you may write that you accept paid advertising for sponsored posts, and that the title of this post will be communicated to the advertiser, but that the ideas expressed will always be yours and may be influenced by the advertiser.
Finally, I would like to use both the disclosure page and the post disclosure, where possible. This means that I am always clear to my readers, and no one can blame me for trying to place an ad without clarifying it.
